The Big Give is Knoxville’s 24-hour Giving Tuesday campaign hosted by United Way of Greater Knoxville (UWGK). We created the Big Give to serve as a giving day hub to help smaller nonprofit organizations reach donors and community members that may not otherwise be aware of their work.
Because we spend this day lifting up the Big Give, we have been missing out on this powerful day of fundraising for UWGK’s mission and work. That’s where you come in. When you sign up to be a peer-to-peer fundraiser, you are agreeing to use your platform and network to share about UWGK and help us raise money on Giving Tuesday. We want to express our deepest gratitude for your support. We truly would not be able to do this without you.
We are excited to share this peer-to-peer fundraising resource page with you. Below you will find social media graphics and copy, email copy and tips for successful peer-to-peer fundraising. If you have any questions, please reach out to marketing@unitedwayknox.org.

Our team has curated five examples of social media posts that you are welcome to use on your social media platforms to ask people to donate to the Big Give. Please feel free to edit these or create posts that feel more personal to you and why you believe in the work of UWGK. If you use hashtags, please add #BigGiveKnox and #Unite4Change to your posts.
