United Way of Greater Knoxville (UWGK) partnered with Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church, Knox County Parks and Recreation, the Knox County Mayor’s Office, and dedicated volunteers to distribute over 500 Thanksgiving meals to families in our local Community Schools this holiday season.

Whether they need long-term support or just a boost to make it through hard times, ETC helps people build a brighter future. To help address the childcare needs of faculty and staff, Knox County Schools (KCS) turned to the United Way of Greater Knoxville (UWGK) and the YMCA of East Tennessee to pilot a “micro-center” providing on-site childcare for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
